Pilot project for continuous monitoring of water quality in the L’Assomption River

Press release - Fondation Rivières and the Ville de L'Assomption are currently carrying out a ground-breaking study to measure the impact of wastewater overflows and other sources of pollution on the bacteriological quality of water at the municipal drinking water intake and the Léo-Jacques Park recreation area, both located on the banks of the Rivière L'Assomption in L'Assomption.

Video contest “small splash becomes BIG!” »

Press release - As part of June, Water Month, Fondation Rivières is launching the "petit splash deviendra GRAND!" competition, replacing this year's traditional Grand Splash. With this revamped event, the organization is inviting citizen committees and individuals to present their dream public access to water. In the form of a video clip lasting less than 5 minutes, participants are asked to describe a proposed water access, indicate why the location is suitable for the public and how it would contribute to the well-being of the community.
