Your support can take the form of a monetary or material donation, the organization of a fundraiser, a legacy in your will and more. Donation by mail
Please address your check to “Fondation Rivières” and send it to 454 avenue Laurier Est, Montréal, QC, H2J 1E7. If you would like to dedicate your donation to a particular cause or river, do not hesitate to write it on your check.

Donate by Interac e-Transfer
In the transfer or payment menu of your online banking services, choose the Interac transfer option and enter the following information:
- Name of the recipient : Fondation Rivières

Finally, follow the instructions to complete the transfer.
Donation of shares
Offering your securities publicly traded can be a tax-advantaged choice. By transferring securities that have appreciated in value, you could avoid paying capital gains tax and thus increase your donation to the Foundation and, incidentally, its impact! Planned donation
More than three million Canadians include a charitable donation in their will. This form of inheritance is a way of strongly asserting one's values, or even making them immutable! See how you can support the Fondation Rivières.
Material donation
The Fondation Rivières accepts material donations for its offices, mobilization activities and field mandates. In return, it can issue a tax-deductible receipt for the value of the item donated.
Here are some examples of items you can donate:
- Stationery (set of pens, markers, notebooks, post-it notes, white or black board, etc.)
- Computer hardware (laptop, computer monitor, projector, tablet, software, etc.)
- Sampling equipment (poles, overalls, water boots, etc.)
- Services (graphic design, printing, etc.)
- Other (vacuum cleaner, air conditioning, cleaning equipment, etc.)
1% for the planet
Initiated in 2002, the 1% for the planet initiative encourages companies to donate 1% of annual sales to organizations committed to protecting the environment. Double your employee donation
Encourage your employees to make a donation by offering to double their contribution. This allows you to benefit from the advantages of a tax receipt while solidifying your commitment to protecting the environment.

Give in honor or memory of a loved one
If rivers remind you of a friend or family member's passion for a water sport or simply for nature, why not mark their birthday by making a donation to protect them? Whether for Mother's Day or another key date, Fondation Rivières can send a special communication to the person being celebrated to inform them of your generous contribution.
You can also honor the memory of a loved one who held this resource dear as a symbolic gesture.
Organize a fundraiser
As a charity, Fondation Rivières can receive donations from different digital platforms, such as Facebook. You can help finance our actions by organizing your own fundraising. When you create a fundraising campaign on Facebook, you invite your entire network to get involved in a cause that is close to your heart. Those who decide to donate as part of a campaign you are organizing for Fondation Rivières can receive a charitable receipt.
