The latest IPCC report published on September 25, 2019 mentioned the catastrophic consequences that anticipated climate changes would have on humans and the environment if a major recovery is not achieved.

Responsible individual choices can certainly help reduce some of the impacts, but above all it is RADICAL public policies that must be put into action, as quickly as possible, to avoid a climate crisis that endangers current civilization.

The Fondation Rivières will be on strike at Montreal this Friday, September 27 to demand immediate action from our governments. There is an urgent need to act. If you would like to walk with the Fondation Rivières and Eau Secours during this strike, come join us at Parc Jeanne-Mance (corner of Esplanade and Mont-Royal) on September 27 at noon.

If you wish to participate in the strike elsewhere in Quebec, you can consult the list of demonstrations which will take place this Friday HERE.
