Water quality monitoring
The Fondation Rivières monitors water quality on various rivers in Quebec to assess the potential for swimming and water activities.
Evaluation of wastewater treatment systems
The Fondation Rivières produces assessments of municipal wastewater treatment facilities in order to optimize their performance and ultimately improve water quality.
Pollution source screening
The Fondation Rivières carries out screening of sources of contamination used to draw up a portrait of the bacteriological quality of the water. This approach allows municipalities and watershed organizations to ensure better water management in their territory, and/or evaluate the potential for swimming and water activities.
