Press release - As part of June, Water Month, Fondation Rivières is launching the "petit splash deviendra GRAND!" competition, replacing this year's traditional Grand Splash. With this revamped event, the organization is inviting citizen committees and individuals to present their dream public access to water. In the form of a video clip lasting less than 5 minutes, participants are asked to describe a proposed water access, indicate why the location is suitable for the public and how it would contribute to the well-being of the community.
Press release - More than a hundred swimmers joined the Comité citoyen Montréal Baignade today for the traditional splash in the St. Lawrence River, starting from Jacques-Cartier Quay in the Old Port of Montreal. This 15th edition of the Grand Splash mobilized bathers to demand greater public access to the shores of the island of Montreal and better control of water quality.
