Yannick B. Gélinas has been directing documentaries, reports and multimedia projects for nearly 25 years. She produced interactive video works, and published multimedia poetry with Planète rebelle in the 2000s. She has made videos for the NFB, Fortier Danse Création, the Conseil des arts de Montréal and the Ville de Montréal. She won a Gémeaux for the documentary From Montréal in 2013. Between 2019 and 2022, she directed more than 15 video projects for Fab labs and Fab City. Involved in Montreal's cultural scene for 25 years, she was an active member of Culture Montréal's Digital Commission. Her keen interest in ecological issues leads her to develop projects in line with her values. Yannick B. Gélinas holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Multimedia from UQAM (Université du Québec à Montréal).
