Wastewater pollution and Bloom Lake mine: Roy Dupuis demands sustainable management of waterways
Press release - Fondation Rivières co-founder and spokesman Roy Dupuis invites the public to join him in demanding sustainable river management from governments. In a video posted on fondationrivieres.org, the comedian associated with river protection recalls the major issues related to water management in Quebec: municipal and agricultural wastewater, hydroelectric dam projects, the lack of public access and safe swimming spots, the filling in of wetlands and construction in flood-prone areas, to name but a few.
