Open letter – On November 26, a few days before the COP15 on biodiversity, it will be the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the National Water Policy.

The view was spectacular: over 200 surfers gathered with their boards near Lachine's new waterfront park on Wednesday.

Despite what appears to be a firm political will to make access to Quebec's waterways and bodies of water a priority, we must admit that this priority remains theoretical to this day. Here is our open letter addressed to Mr. François Legault, Prime Minister of Quebec, signed by the Collective for equitable access to bodies of water.

As heatwaves become more and more frequent, the desire to swim in one of Quebec's many lakes or rivers grows. But is the water quality suitable for safe swimming? How to know?
