The Rivière des Mille Îles is a peaceful sanctuary just a stone's throw from Montreal. A veritable cradle of biodiversity, the Mille-Îles River nevertheless faces a number of challenges.

The Richelieu River is well known: it serves as a backyard for many Quebecers... or even as a highway. Its bustle in spring and the pleasures it offers in summer are what make it so famous. As a gathering place, it can quickly become noisy. The Richelieu River is rarely discreet: without being eccentric, it's a flashy, exuberant river in spite of itself!
