href=\"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/projets\/assomption-suivi-qualite-de-leau\/\">\u00e9tude de la qualit\u00e9 microbiologique de l\u2019eau visant la mise en valeur du potentiel de baignade de la rivi\u00e8re Ch\u00e2teauguay r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en 2021<\/a>, la Fondation Rivi\u00e8res a \u00e9t\u00e9 mandat\u00e9e de nouveau pour confirmer les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9liminaires. Fondation Rivi\u00e8res a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 un \u00e9chantillonnage r\u00e9gulier et \u00e0 fr\u00e9quence \u00e9lev\u00e9e, en plus de tourn\u00e9es de d\u00e9pistage. Ces efforts ont permis de d\u00e9terminer la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau aux sites \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude et d\u2019y \u00e9tablir les tendances de contamination.<\/p><p>Les \u00e9chantillons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9s par le d\u00e9nombrement d\u2019<em>Escherichia coli<\/em> (<em>E. coli<\/em>) traditionnel. La Fondation Rivi\u00e8res a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 une surveillance hybride de la qualit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;eau de la <a href=\"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/projets\/adoptez-une-riviere-chateauguay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rivi\u00e8re Ch\u00e2teauguay<\/a>, en recourant \u00e0 la fois aux analyses traditionnelles d&rsquo;<em>E. coli<\/em> en laboratoire au laboratoire Eurofins Environex Longueuil et \u00e0 une technologie d&rsquo;analyse rapide.<\/p><p>Ce dernier, l&rsquo;appareil ColiMinder permet de d\u00e9tecter en 15 minutes la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;<em>E. coli<\/em> dans l\u2019eau par analyse enzymatique. En incluant les donn\u00e9es recueillies lors de l&rsquo;\u00e9tude pr\u00e9liminaire de 2021, la Fondation Rivi\u00e8res a r\u00e9colt\u00e9 un total de 271 mesures de laboratoire (UFC\/100 mL) qui peuvent \u00eatre corr\u00e9l\u00e9es \u00e0 des relev\u00e9s enzymatiques, prises par l\u2019appareil ColiMinder. Cette approche a notamment permis d\u2019\u00e9tablir une corr\u00e9lation entre le d\u00e9nombrement d\u2019<em>E. coli<\/em> au laboratoire et les mesures ColiMinder dans le secteur de Mercier, qui pourrait servir de m\u00e9canisme de \u00ab premi\u00e8re alerte rapide \u00bb afin de signaler les pics de
