Saint-Laurent<\/h2><p>Afin de soutenir le Groupe de concertation des bassins versants de la zone B\u00e9cancour (GROBEC) dans la mise \u00e0 jour de son Plan directeur de l\u2019eau, la Fondation Rivi\u00e8res a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une \u00e9valuation de performance des syst\u00e8mes municipaux de traitement des eaux us\u00e9es sur toute la zone B\u00e9cancour. Cette d\u00e9cision fait suite \u00e0<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/projets\/lac-truite-dirlande-traitement-eaux-usees\/\">un projet men\u00e9 pour l\u2019Association de protection du lac \u00e0 la Truite d&rsquo;Irlande (APLTI)<\/a><\/strong>, qui a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la d\u00e9marche rigoureuse de la Fondation au <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grobec.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GROBEC<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p><p>Les objectifs : identifier les probl\u00e9matiques d\u2019assainissement entre 2014 et 2018 et produire un rapport synth\u00e8se destin\u00e9 aux d\u00e9cideurs municipaux, aux groupes d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et au public. rel=\"noopener\">Suivi des ouvrages municipaux d\u2019assainissement des eaux us\u00e9es (SOMAEU)<\/a> <\/strong>ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenues de trois sources diff\u00e9rentes, soit le GROBEC, le MAMH et <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.environnement.gouv.qc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">le minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCC)<\/a><\/strong>. Sur les 32 municipalit\u00e9s d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pr\u00e9sentes sur le territoire d\u2019\u00e9tude (dont 6 sans traitement), les repr\u00e9sentant.e.s de 30 d\u2019entre elles ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 un entretien t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique (94 % de participation). Les six zones d\u2019\u00e9tude correspondent aux sous-bassins versants des rivi\u00e8res du Ch\u00eane et Gentilly, de la rivi\u00e8re Nicolet, du<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/projets\/adoptez-une-riviere-fleuve-saint-laurent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fleuve Saint-Laurent<\/a><\/strong> ainsi qu\u2019au bassin de<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/projets\/adoptez-une-riviere-becancour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> la rivi\u00e8re B\u00e9cancour<\/a>.<\/strong> Le diagnostic de performance se d\u00e9cline en deux grands volets : la performance des stations d\u2019\u00e9puration et la performance des r\u00e9seaux et des ouvrages de touch\u00e9e par les performances d\u2019assainissement de la Ville de Thetford Mines, qui se trouve \u00e0 l\u2019amont du bassin versant. Une absence de d\u00e9sinfection des eaux trait\u00e9es et des d\u00e9versements fr\u00e9quents en temps de pluie sont en cause. Sur une \u00e9chelle plus large, de nombreuses stations de petite taille rencontrent des difficult\u00e9s d&rsquo;enl\u00e8vement du phosphore, surtout \u00e0 l\u2019aval de la rivi\u00e8re B\u00e9cancour. Six municipalit\u00e9s sur ce territoire sont en d\u00e9marches pour construire des stations d\u2019\u00e9puration au bout de leurs r\u00e9seaux existants.
