L&#039;Anse-\u00e0-l&#039;Orme and its river are home to the richest biodiversity in Montreal, with adjacent nature parks and Lac des Deux-Montagnes nearby. This space offers exceptional economic and ecological potential for recreational tourism.<\/p>\n<p>The green coalition of Montreal and the citizens&#039; committee \u201cSave l&#039;Anse-\u00e0-l&#039;Orme\u201d, which we support, are calling for the conservation of the entire area. Why build in a natural place when other land with no ecological value is available, and the city of Montreal has a shortage of protected territories? A petition from 17,000 citizens has already shown significant opposition to the project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline to register<\/strong> to submit a written brief or to express one&#039;s opinion verbally is Thursday <strong>April 27, 2017<\/strong>.
