{"id":6037,"date":"2013-07-29T10:32:05","date_gmt":"2013-07-29T14:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/?p=6037"},"modified":"2023-04-10T09:36:34","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T13:36:34","slug":"centrale-hydroelectrique-val-jalbert-autorisations-manquantes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondationrivieres.org\/en\/centrale-hydroelectrique-val-jalbert-autorisations-manquantes\/","title":{"rendered":"Val-Jalbert hydroelectric power station: missing authorizations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:fr--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contrary to what was declared by Mr. Denis Taillon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de l&#039;\u00e9nergie sociale du Lac-Saint-Jean as part of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.radio-canada.ca\/regions\/saguenay-lac\/2013\/07\/27\/002-droits-miniers-val-jalbert.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report broadcast by Radio-Canada on Saturday July 27<\/a>, not all authorizations have been issued to move forward with the construction of a hydroelectric power station in Val-Jalbert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indeed, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, Wildlife and Parks (MDDEFP) confirmed last week that the developer was still missing three or four authorizations before he could begin work.
