Fight against climate change (MELCC) of Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie as a member of the Board of Directors of his organization.<\/p>\n<p>For the last 33 years, Mr. Leblanc has worked at the MELCC. He was notably a manager in the five regional directorates of Greater Montreal before ending his career at the head of analysis and expertise for the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie regional directorate, agricultural, water, municipal and natural sectors.<\/p>\n<p>After specializing in environmental protection in Quebec, he notably worked in the field of analysis of environmental impact studies at the French Ministry of the Environment and at the \u00c9cole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es. , where he undertook a doctorate in environment. He is currently completing his 4th term as a Canadian member of an international study council created by the International Joint Commission, an organization that deals with water management issues in watersheds that straddle the border of Canada and the United States. .<\/p>\n<p>Recently retired, Mr. Leblanc decided to continue his involvement in environmental protection within Fondation Rivi\u00e8res. \u201cIt is with great enthusiasm that I continue my involvement in better water management. Fondation Rivi\u00e8res&#039;s mission to protect and conserve this wealth that is Quebec&#039;s thousand and one watercourses is for me inspiring and extremely important, particularly for future generations.
