Press release - Fondation Rivières and the Ville de L'Assomption are currently carrying out a ground-breaking study to measure the impact of wastewater overflows and other sources of pollution on the bacteriological quality of water at the municipal drinking water intake and the Léo-Jacques Park recreation area, both located on the banks of the Rivière L'Assomption in L'Assomption.

Press release - Fondation Rivières supports the work of the Conseil régional de l'environnement (CRE) de Laval and Laval and national organizations in their objective to protect the Mille-Îles River area targeted by the real estate developer on Île Gagnon in the Sainte-Rose sector.

Press release - Fondation Rivières calls on the Quebec government to include water purification investments in the priority projects provided for in Bill 61 on economic recovery. The current bill does not include measures that would enable municipalities to take swift action to reduce water pollution.
