Press release - Fondation Rivières and the Société de conservation et d'aménagement des bassins versants de la zone Châteauguay (SCABRIC) have released the results of a groundbreaking study into the bathing potential of the Châteauguay River. The study reveals that, contrary to popular belief, the water of the Châteauguay River is perfectly suitable for swimming.

Press release - The Quebec government has withdrawn from important responsibilities since the adoption, four years ago, of the Règlement sur les ouvrages municipaux d'assainissement des eaux usées. Since then, municipalities are no longer supported by the State, performance results are still not accessible to organizations, and the identification of problems and solutions is not prioritized, particularly at the watershed level.
