Fondation Rivières joint les rangs de ce nouveau mouvement pour faire face à l’urgence et à l’ampleur du gâchis en matière de choix et de stratégies énergétiques au Québec ces dernières années. La première mobilisation du groupe aura lieu ce dimanche 12 septembre et Yann Perreau sera le porte-parole de la Fondation. Rendez-vous Place Riopelle 14h, devant le Palais des Congrès de Montréal.
Au lendemain d’une année extrêmement chargée où les nombreux spectacles et succès se sont enchaînés, Yann Perreau reste toujours aussi prolifique! Le gagnant du Félix de l’Auteur-compositeur de l’année nous arrive cette fois-ci avec une sorte de petite BD ludique sur fond de musique pop rock aux influences 60s, tantôt planante, tantôt débordante d’intensité mais toujours aussi accrocheuse! L’énergie de Yann Perreau telle qu’on la connaît sur scène se transpose parfaitement sur ces trois pièces sucrées idéales pour les vacances, qui seront, sans aucun doute, la trame sonore de l’été!
Les collaborateurs de ce cocktail estival sont Alex McMahon (claviers, batterie),George Donoso III (guitare électrique), Martin Pelland (basse), Seb Martel(guitare électrique, bottle neck) et Yann Perreau (piano, batterie et voix). Au soleil sera disponible en version digitale au yannperreau.bandcamp.com, où le public pourra donner le montant qu’il désire, ainsi que sur iTunes (montant fixe). 100% des sommes amassées seront séparées à part égale et envoyées aux trois organismes que parraine Yann Perreau!

After the release of a third life-changing album, Un serpent sous les fleurs, onBonsound Records in April 2009 and after an exciting year under the spotlight of the bustling music world, Yann Perreau is back with a three song EP titled Au soleil. It is with a huge heart that the singer-songwriter is releasing this EP, as all the profits will go to three non-profit organizations he supports, Young Musicians of the World, Fondation Rivières & Les Dîners St-Louis.
Winner of the Singer-songwriter of the year Félix award at the 2009 ADISQ Gala,Yann Perreau is honoring his prize by being just as prolific as ever! These three songs present the energetic and crystal clear vision Yann holds of the world, a comic book-like interpretation made up of a hybrid mix of pop rock sounds and sixties influenced tracks. There’s no doubt, this dynamic and enticing EP is destined to be the soundtrack of the summer!
